2012 Annual Conference – DC
COHEAO hosted a very successful conference from January 29-February 1 at the Ritz Carlton-Pentagon City just across the river from Washington, DC. Conference attendees enjoyed a variety of sessions that focused on policy issues affecting campus-based student loans and financial services, institutional loans and tuition accounts, the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, campus-based financial literacy programs, regulatory compliance, e-commerce and data protection.

Conference attendees participated in a very successful Silent Auction Event, which raised $4,300 for scholarships to be awarded in 2012 to students at COHEAO member schools.
Conference attendees also dedicated an afternoon to visiting Congressional Representatives on Capitol Hill to convey the importance of protecting and investing in the exisiting Federal Perkins Loan Program.
