Registration for the 2017 COHEAO Annual Conference is now available.  Join us January 29-February 1 at the Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City, which is just across the river from our nation’s capital.

The COHEAO Annual Conference is the must-attend event for student financial services administrators on campus and their vendor partners, particularly those with an interest in the happenings of Washington and its impact on our business. Click here for our conference agenda,, which includes insights from key players on the reauthorization of the Higher Education Act and other legislation and regulatory activities impacting financial services on campus. The conference will also include updates and perspectives on the Department of Education and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).  Previous Congressional speakers include Sen. Tammy Baldwin (WI), Rep. Luke Messer (IN), Rep. Mark Pocan (WI), Subcommittee on Higher Education and Lifelong Learning Chair Virginia Foxx (NC), Rep. Tim Bishop (NY), among others!

Perkins Petition ImageThis conference is also the critical advocacy event for the Perkins Loan Program and other student financial services issues on campus, such as reforms to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. On Tuesday, January 31, conference delegates will take to Capitol Hill to advocate on behalf of preserving and improving the Perkins Loan Program.  In addition to updates from key legislators and/or their staff, the conference will feature multiple discussions relating to advocacy. As requested, experienced advocates will be paired with less experienced attendees to ensure all delegates who want to participate in these meetings have an engaging and enjoyable experience.
